If you're a hardcore gamer, but smart, you will not buy this machine. But if you think you are a hardcore gamer (in other words, a wannabe), and are also rich, then you're the reason why Alienware even exists. They came out with their new Area-51 ALX recently that has an overclocked quad core Core 2 Extreme QX6700 chip - it has raised it from 2.66GHz to 3.2Ghz. Why is it so expensive? I have no idea, as the Core 2 has been overclocked tons of time before and it perfectly safe to be done at home by any individual. Its supposed to be around $5,000 and that doesn't make sense, as it would mean that you are shelling out $1500 extra for that case??
