The year 2006 is over, and as always, there are reports and statistics released by companies about products and services that were offered in the year. I came across the top 10 cell phones of 2006, and low and behold, the Razr topped the charts. Its pretty obvious that it would as everyone nowadays is trying to look good, and the Razr is pretty much regarded to be an icon. I personally do not own the Razr, but instead own the Samsung A900M which is considerably better than the Razr (a slight bit more expensive too). The report also has stats about what consumers are looking for in a cellphone. It seems that more multimedia on a phone as well the applications that it has is a big thing for consumers, and in my point that is absolutely true. Maybe not the multimedia part for me, but being able to run applications to send emails and search the Internet is always a great feature as you never know when an emergency may arise. In that note, GPS is also a big factor due to its use in case of an emergency (for instance, the ambulance needs to get to your exact location, or maps to the nearest pharmacy). Overall, it seems that users want style with power!
